i first started picturing myself with a guitar before i really even knew what one was. at 4 years old, i had a dream of myself and my sister, onstage, together, playing red fender guitars.
my mom's family comes from Alabama, and my fathers' family comes from Texas, so music, rivers, and mud are a big part of our history.
when you feel connected to your surroundings, there is no greater feeling. you know the ancestors...your ancestors...are there. they feel you
